Carrom held court with fellow game lovers and comic book fans at the first annual ComicCon in Atlantic City in May. While at the trade show, Carrom unveiled a zombie foosball table designed by LA-based comic book artist Matt Jacobs. More than 10 celebrities including Michael Rooker from “The Walking Dead” and “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Rebecca Mader from “Once Upon a Time” and Jason Mewes from “Mallrats” signed the table which was auctioned off to the highest bidder; proceeds benefitted Wounded Warrior Project. National Effort Underway to Bring Back Family Game Night by Carrom Co. (LUDINGTON, MI) OCTOBER 2, 2014 – Carrom Co., the 100-year-old quality family games manufacturer, will launch a new national effort to bring back family game night Thursday, Oct. 16 called “Unplug your Kids: Connect the Family.” The initiative calls upon families in America to put down their mobile devices, turn off their TVs and put away their laptops and tablets for one night to sit around the kitchen table or family room playing their favorite board games in an attempt to re-engage the family in real conversation and nostalgic fun.
