    Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Dynasty Ogun is a first-generation artist whose parents immigrated from Dominica and Nigeria. Their work explores the relationship between beauty, scarring, and perfectionism, reflecting on how we find meaning in both past and present flaws.

    Working with textiles, sculpture, embroidery, and tufting, Ogun transforms material processes into metaphors for healing, resilience, and spiritual growth. Through labor-intensive techniques, their practice bridges the personal and universal, inviting viewers to reconsider conventional notions of perfection and self-acceptance.
